I've practiced General Dentistry in Lincoln Park for almost 30 years but when it was time for my daughter to be screened for orthodontic care, I... realized we needed someplace closer to home. We consulted at three offices and felt most comfortable with the treatment plans presented by Dr. Peterson. The plans were all comprehensive but varied from conservative treatment to more modern and cutting edge ortho alternatives, or combinations of both. Once treatment began is where the true value of this practice became evident. The front office and assistants are integral to the office and are all very pleasant and more than competent at their tasks. Dr. Peterson was also very impressive in dealing with the pivoting that occurs during treatment in any long-term dental procedure as well as ensuring the results are maintained through the retainers and guards. As we near the end of our care we are all extremely pleased with the results and this office, happy we know where our younger daughter will go for her ortho, and I am reassured that I can continue to confidently refer my northern based patients to Dr. Peterson. Overall, my experience at Peterson Orthodontics has been extremely positive. From the time I started my orthodontic treatment, I noticed that Dr.... Peterson always looked out for my best interest. He takes pride in his work and was often available on short notice when I had a question or needed an additional appointment. Recently, I noticed there was a crack in my clear, post-braces retainer (after nearly 4 years of daily use). I was quickly brought in for an appointment and given a new retainer less than a week later! Before leaving, I was told that if I had any questions I just had to give them a call and they would help me set up an appointment. The entire staff is lovely and I would highly recommend Peterson Orthodontics. I couldn't be happier with my smile and their service!read more

All of our children have been patients of Dr. Peterson, who is professional and courteous. The office staff is friendly and helpful in maneuvering... insurance, appointment changes, and unexpected issues with wires, brackets or retainers. The care has been great, even alerting us to other oral conditions that we needed to monitor or treat, whether with our own doctor, or a recommendation to an oral surgeon, etc. Dr. Peterson welcomes patients to contact him with any issues that occur, even after the course of treatment is completed. Peterson Orthodontics did a wonderful job on my daughters teeth!! She had to come in a bit younger at age 10, due to teeth not coming down/in and one... coming in backwards. Her teeth are now beautiful and she is very happy with how they look. At the time we started coming, I had a 5 month old so waiting for an appointment at length was not an option. After doing my research, and now from experience I can attest that their appointments are on-time and the staff is very helpful. They know who you are when you call and scheduling is a breeze. I couldn't be happier with the experience or think it could have been better given where we started with my daughters teeth. Thank you so much!!read more
